This guide will take you through the essential steps to start using Integrabot. At the end, you’ll have a functioning AI agent conversing with your customers via WhatsApp.
Estimated time: 5-10 minutes

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you have:
An Integrabot account (if not, create one here)
A phone number for WhatsApp Business
Basic information about your business (products/services)

Step 1: Connect your WhatsApp

Access Panel

Log in at app.integrabot.ai and click WhatsApp in the sidebar

Click Connect New Channel

On the WhatsApp screen, click ”+ Connect Channel”

Scan the QR Code

  • Open WhatsApp on your phone
  • Go to Settings > Linked Devices
  • Tap Link a Device
  • Scan the QR Code displayed on screen

Confirm Connection

After scanning, wait a few seconds. You’ll see a success message and your channel will be connected!
Important: Use an exclusive number for the bot. Don’t use the same number on other devices simultaneously.

Step 2: Configure your AI Agent

Access My Agent

In the sidebar, click My Agent

Define the Goal

In the Main Goal field, describe your agent’s purpose

Write Instructions

In the Instructions field, detail how the agent should behave

Choose Communication Style

Select communication temperature:
  • 0.3 (Balanced) - Recommended to start

Save Settings

Click Save at the top of the page
You can test your agent by clicking the chat icon in the bottom right corner of the screen!

Step 3: Add Knowledge

For your agent to respond accurately, it needs to know your business.
  1. Go to Knowledge Base in menu
  2. Click Text tab
  3. Paste important information
  4. Click Save

Step 4: Test your Agent

Open Test Chat

Click the chat icon in the bottom right corner

Simulate a Conversation

Ask questions as if you were a customer

Evaluate Responses

  • Are responses correct?
  • Is the tone appropriate?
  • Is the agent using knowledge base information?

Adjust if Necessary

If something isn’t good, go back to My Agent and adjust instructions

Step 5: Your Agent is Live! 🚀

Congratulations! Your agent is now active and ready to serve.

What happens now?

  1. Anyone who sends a message to your WhatsApp number will be served by the agent
  2. The agent will use the instructions and knowledge you configured
  3. You can monitor all conversations in real-time in the Conversations menu
  4. If needed, you can intervene manually in any conversation

Now that your basic agent is working, you can:
Create forms within WhatsApp to capture structured information
Connect external APIs and automate actions (check inventory, create orders, etc)
Integrate with CRM, email, calendar and other systems
Add more documents, FAQs and detailed information
